MONDAY:

Yesterday I was exhausted and not feeling much better. I had a stuffy nose, my throat hurt, and i had a cough. After going to one class, i was debating if i should just go home or not. Luckily, after the class, ashley comes up to me (because we were in different classes) saying she was so tired and just wanted to go home. yay! So we left early and when i came back i napped until 1:30ish. When i woke up I worked on my genesis parables paper that was supposed to be due after class that day. I knew it would be fine if i wasnt done. I got a pretty good start on my paper, but after a certain amount of time i just couldnt focus anymore! My paper is about the third interpretation which is combining the figurative and literal understandings of the stories in the tanach. After working on it for a long time i gave up. I came back to my apartment for dinner. Then britty and i went to the library to work on our holocaust film final and skyped with mom for a couple of minutes. I then showered and hung out with boaz for a little.

TUESDAY:

Today we didnt have to be downstairs for an activity until 9, so i woke up at 8:50, but i wasnt too tired. Katie made me oatmeal and we went to the beit midrash where we had to work with the people we volunteer with and make our volunteer place something. We were given a picture frame, so ashley and i took a pic i took of her after we organized the book shelves and then a picture of me cut out. I was so much bigger than her. hahaha. After that we didnt have anything until 12:30, so i worked on my paper. Then shevet had a bbq party, which was nice and fun. There was a Q and A session with the rabbi from shalem and after that boaz (our director) drove a couple of us back to beit ar-el. I then read for a little and tried to work on my paper. I just couldnt finish it, so i then worked on our holocaust film final. Britty came back and then we finished that up, it took some time. I then finished up my paper. I showered and then a couple of us went to our teacher's place to give him our papers. His place was really cool and artistic..with a lot of his art! We only went for a couple of minutes, because we wanted to go out for dinner. Moran walked with us and katie and i needed to take out money, and since it was right by where moran lives, we stopped by her place. after a couple of minutes we left and went back to the sushi place. omg the sushi was soo good. We had a couple of appetizers so i got full, surprisingly! katie and i kept on cracking up and i had some wasabi which was a painful experience (but helped my nose open up!) We then got back and hung around for a little. It is 12:19, i was going to read, but im way too exhausted.
