WEDNESDAY:

On Wednesday, I decided to be a B.A. with Rach and we decided to call in sick and not go to volunteering. I was so excited and I acted how I would if I found out there was a snow day. I was so hyper and couldn't fall back asleep right away. We made pancakes for breakfast! Then after taking Boaz to the bus stop, I went to class. Class wasn't anything too special. In Israel Advocacy we talked about Israel and the Holocaust. We heard how Obama a few months ago was in Egypt and was saying how the reason Israel was created was because of the Holocaust. Oy...not good. Then a couple of us invited ourselves to go to this event where we were supposed to get dinner. We had to rush home and run back to the ulpan. The bus was so so so late (like over an hour.) We were all starving. When we finally got on the coach bus and got to the event, there wasnt dinner, just snacks. We got there late, so once we started to stuff our mouths they told us we had to go inside. Ugh! The event was Desert Queen and is basically women traveling all over the world in Jeeps for a week. Masa recently partnered up with them, so we get to go traveling with some Israeli women in Jeeps around Israel. Not sure when, but I am excited!! Tzipi spoke and all the women there were just crazy, fun Israelis. There would be fun song breaks where everyone would get up and sing. They all reminded me of my mom. In the Israeli society, my mom would be seen just as a typical, crazy Israel woman. When we got home we had dinner and then went to bed not too much later.
