Today i had to wake up early. I was so cozy in my sleeping bag. Yes, i slept in it last night..i forgot to mention in my previous blog posts that all of the sudden it has become winter. it is so windy and FREEZING...obvi not as cold as michigan, but still. We have no heat, but they said that our air conditioning is also a heater, they just have to change the settings and temperature so it will blow out hot air, rather than cold air. I could barely function i was just so cold. I decided to take out my gloves! haha. Ashley thought the gloves were too much, but my hands were freezing.

When we got to school we didnt do anything for 2 class periods. We then found namah and i went with her, while ashley went into a different class. I had been with these 7th graders before and they were yelling my name and seemed excited to see me! yay! the class is such a bad class though, they do NOT shut up! After that class, Pamela told us to go to a class that had a substitute. This class was the class we went to, but left early because they were so rude and we were just a distraction...the sub (another english teacher) told us she didnt need us, so we just decided to leave because we were going to go after that period anyways. Luckily, we didnt wait too long for the bus and the bus is heated. woo hoo!

After getting to my apartment and changing into comfy clothes (sweats), i waited for katie to come back from her volunteering. When she got back, we made pancakes for lunch. We are having off days (so is everyone else) with cooking. I then had my ulpan class which went pretty well. We have a quiz on thursday, i just have to study a little. In between classes, rach and i took a "nap." I put that it quotations, because we were in bed, but instead of sleeping we just were talking. Unfortunately our conversation about families got interupted by workmen. They needed me to get out of my bed to stabilize the bunk bed. geez i didnt know i gained THAT much weight! When i came in the room to grab my laptop the guys had thrown my sleeping bag off the bed and one of them was ON my bed. wtf. i dont even let guests onto bed. I dont even go on my bed if i am really dirty. UGHHH! I then had my genesis class, which only lasted for at the most 30 minutes, because it started to rain and the power went out! We needed to get groceries and i was pumped because i could wear my rain boots and rain jacket...finally!

We waited for naomi's class to finish, and then we went. Rach and i were hungry and even though we were freezing and in the rain, we decided to get ice cream. it was so worth it. About 2 minutes after we left, it started to pour and the wind was going against us. After grocery shopping, it had stopped raining, but was still really cold outside. Katie and i took the cart back and decided to buy bananas and chocolate for some people. After getting in line and saying hi to the same cash register, we realized we didnt have the card, or any money. greatttt. so we walked all the way back, secretly grabbed the card (after helping guys carry in their groceries (note to self: bread falling on the ground)) and went back to the grocery store. The security guard laughed when he saw us, and so did the cashier. friendsssss! (note to self: upset, lost my pinky toe) when we got back dinner was ready and they were all sitting, waiting for us. they seemed a little pissed. dinner was good-chicken with potatoes and a salad. After dinner i cleaned (new cleaning schedule) and then worked on the redo of our midterm for the Holocaust film class. It took awhile to do. I was excited about eating an apple with chocolate spread for dessert after my shower, but when i got out of the shower i wasnt hungry. I told myself not go talk to people on facebook or on aim, but i got to do a quick catch up with my friend. I wanted to watch 27 dresses after this blog. It is 12, but i dont have to wake up until 8:30 tomorrow...ill watch a little of it :)

ps- it is so good that it has been raining...israel really needs it.
