THURSDAY:

On Thursday, I woke up around 11 something and talked to nathan for a little. Then I had GOOD cereal for breakfast (a plus for staying at boaz's :) ) I had 2 bowls! First was the cookie one, then i couldnt resist some cinnamon toast crunch!! After breakfast he wanted to fight me. When he tried to kick me, thank you steph for allowing me to practice my reflexes, i caught his leg! hahaha. He had to hop to the wall before i put his foot down. HA i beat him! After this we hung out for a bit and he got this song in my head called "ah ah ahava" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmcQ62AW7Jc) but at 1:15ish I quickly packed up and we walked to the bus stop. Then i took a bus to the central bus station where i missed the direct bus from jeru to bat yam by 15 minutes. I took the bus to arlozorov. That bus ride was easy, but then I had to find the bus stop for the 42 to get back to jerusalem. Luckily i found it on my own! woo hoo!! I had to wait a long time for the bus to come, making me about an hour late to ulpan!! I felt really bad and was so nervous she would get mad, but she didnt care at all! She knows that i am a good student, so was fine with it. It is good to look innocent by first impressions!

Ulpan was really slow and im glad I was late. After ulpan I came back to the apartment and after going on a "run" with nicola (we mostly walked and talked, which was nice) I eventually changed and went out with katie, michal, and leah to tel aviv (um i may or may not have showered?!). It was such a funny night. First we went out for dinner at Moses. I ordered a drink...fancy, i know. Leah and i split a hamburger and a salad. IT WAS SO GOOD. Then Leah started talking about the hot logistics guy named nitzan. Katie met him, but neither michal or i have. So Leah kept on saying how hot he was and how she loves him and then when we ask what he looks like Katie says "well, he has a really, nice big butt" then guess who comes over to our table. He says "leah!" HE FOR SURE HEARD. when she said hi to him, we all realized who he was and all couldnt contain ourselves. I just had my head down on the table shaking. When he left Leah was dying (along with the rest of us.) She was so embarrassed. Later, leah and i went searching for the bathroom. We had to go up on the elevator. It looked like no one could see us, so we just danced like crazy people. We realized that everyone could see us perfectly. nbd. the bathrooms were really nice and there was this really cool hand drying thing.

After dinner, our plan was to go bar hopping, but "bar hopping" turned into window shopping. We just walked around and it was really nice to see the nice, cute tel aviv, rather than the gross, bar parts. It is nice how there is a huge sidewalk in between the road. We walked passed this fountain and it is so funny how that is the area where all the punks hang out. It was curazy! After walking around some more and just goofing off we were all tired and wanted to find the bus we could take home. We tried getting a taxi and then katie pretend she was drunk and was just yelling "estreem sheqliem estreem sheqliem" hahaha. Then Leah and I were walking fast and Leah told me we have to slow down because Katie is sick and she can't walk fast. Right after she said that Katie yells out "guys slow down, i cant walk fast, im sick." haha. Then the best thing happened. There was this little cute poodle like dog walking. Leah thinks it is cute and just jumps towards it. Obviously, the dog gets scared and you can hear the nails rubbing against the ground as it jumped back. We all started to giggle and make fun of leah for scaring a dog. Then out of no where the dog does a circle and starts charging towards leah and barking aggressively. Leah freaked out and then we were all silent on the ground almost peeing our pants. We couldn't breathe from laughing so hard.

Then we walk past a stand that is closed but makes smoothies and they left the fruit out. Leah asks if it is bad if she took an apple. She takes it and then Katie asks for a banana. Leah doesnt take one, but a whole bunch of them...like 10! It was so funny. Also, while we were walking we walk past a pizza and the waitress is holding a pie of pizza. We were all so tempted to just take a slice and run, just so we could laugh about it. Then when we walked past the fountain, again, we made contact with with the punks! Leah was planning on offering them a banana as a peace treaty, but they came up to us asking. Leah gave them all of them, and it was funny, but then this kid comes up to me asking me for half of my banana. I was almost done with my banana, and we kept telling him to go get a banana from his friends. He wouldnt listen, so we just walked away. He had so many piercing and had a bar in between his eyebrows. As william (or me and elana imitating him) says, "Scawy!"

We finally find the bus stop and while waiting for the bus stop a creepy biker talks to us, but we ignore him and get scared. When we get on the bus some of our scouts are on the bus too. We sit by them and then we almost get kicked off by the bus driver for being too noisy...we werent even that loud! The bus driver said on the speaker to the guys in the back of the bus "should we kick the americans off?!" so rude! Then Katie imitates the dance the crazy twin sister does from another cinderella story. We got it on tape and i still laugh whenever i think about it or see the video. While I was cracking up, i learned that on buses you should keep your hands, feet, and HEAD in your seat at all times. My head was in the isle from laughing and then a woman who lost her balance bangs into me. None of us could breathe from laughing.

When we got off the bus I had to walk home alone for a bit and I got really scared. I then called Katie, so everything was fine. I got home and talked to some family on the computer, but forced myself to go to bed at 4am. I had my alarm set for 8.
