MONDAY:

Katie and I woke up at 8 and then Lindsey talked to us about anorexia and bulimia and then vitamins. It was a nice way to wake up! About an hour later after first waking up I got out of bed and then after checking stuff on the computer, Katie and I left to walk to a bus stop that could take us back to the CBS. When we got the CBS, we bought candy and then ate a lot of it on the bus ride home. It was not even 11am yet. We then went to my apartment and had some breakfast, which was hamburgers Leah made the night before. By 12 I was at my volunteering and Rach's person once again didn't need her, so she was helping at the place I volunteer at. We put clothes in the right sections and then after sweeping the floors and mopping, our person took us out for falafel!! 2nd day in a row eating it!! It was at a different place and was good. She paid for us and then she let us have an early day!

When we got back to the apartment, after sitting on the couch on the computer for a little, I went into my new room to take a 30 minute nap, but saw that Michal was passed out on my bed, so I then just went into Rachel's bed. Ahhh I love her bed. After forcing myself to get up, Rachel and I began to blog about our Yam l'yam experience. We were interrupted when we had to go on this hike for Lag b'Omer. We were in the Yattir forest and it was pretty cool. The hike wasn't really anything-instead of wearing sandals, I wore my hiking boots, which didn't hurt my pinkey toe too much. We saw the civilization that once lived there. They had built a wine maker (the children would crush the grapes), an olive oil maker, had some cisterns and a place for prayer. We also went into this cave that smelled bad and had some bugs in it.

After we got onto the bus to go to this place to make a bonfire. Katie and I found some wood and then arab children made the fire and then we all roasted marshmallows and mingled with the arab families. I practiced my hebrew with a few of them. We were supposed to have hotdogs and potatoes, but the madrichim just decided to leave after the marshmallows. When we got back to the apartment, with all of the extra potatoes, we (michal, leah, rach, and I) had a nice dinner together. They had one thing, but I couldn't resist but make a grilled cheese on pita with tomatoes and garlic. After dinner we packed and such and then I didn't get to bed until 1ish.
