MONDAY

We didnt want to be late because the madrichim are really strict with time...we arent used to this because in jerusalem it was normal for everyone to be late. We left a little later than we wanted so we were a couple of minutes late. We basically were told about all of the different siyyurim we could choose from for the next couple of months. I like that a couple of them are repeated, so if you dont get to go one time, you can go another time. After this we were given our card to go grocery shopping. woo hoo!!!! It was so hectic because super douche (i smirk every time i write the name of the grocery store) was already crowded before year coursers bombarded in there. We got so much fruit and veggies. We were all so happy. We spend a little more than 1000 sheks, but that is normal because it was the first time we had gone shopping and we needed practically everything. After shopping we came back to the apartment and made lunch. We ate together and it was cute. We had deli meat, rather than the packaged kind, and it was cheap!!! We then had to go back to the ulpan center where we did somethings and then got together with our madricha to go over rules and respect. Most of this meeting consisted of the brits saying different excuses and how we miss the jerusalem madrichim. They werent rude, but it was just pointless talk!

After this we went back to the apartment and hung around until our groceries came. We chose to got them delivered this time because we had so much and we couldnt take the grocery cart (like we did in j-ru). Once the food finally came we put it away and then started to make dinner. We had salad and homemade shnitzel...so good! Then at 9:30 we went out with shir and she bought us champagne and we toasted to a great 3 months. We then met up with other people and we were all supposed to go to a club together in tel aviv. we got on the bus really late, but then once we got there we decided to go back because a couple of our roommates were sick. It was still a pretty good night though.
