After that class i had a free period, so i just went with yael to a hebrew class. One of the big problems students have is not following directions, so they took this quiz (idk if they will count it), but the first thing said not to answer any of the questions or do anything until you read all of the directions. The last direction said to just do the 2nd thing, but a lot of the students didnt listen to the directions so they were doing math, drawing stars on the corners of the paper. It was funny to watch, especially because some of the students already took this quiz a previous year and so they obviously finished right away. Some students who hadn't taken it before started to get nervous because people had already finished when they just started!
The next class i went to pamela's class and took students outside to just had them speak to me in english about their families, friends, school, future, army, etc. It was fun to do and a lot of them were really good at english. hopefully pamela will continue to have us do that. After class, the kid that asked for my number was outside and then with all of his friends there asked me again for my number. It's funny because he didnt speak english that well so he was trying so hard to have me understand him. I am happy that when i walk through the school, students are saying "hi jeeseeca!" finally people know who i am! Before we were just inside the english room so no one knew us! I also know what teachers to go to to see if i can go to their class with them. One teacher wanted to know if i can go to his class tomorrow--ah im excited and just happy!
When i got back to the apartment I had a bad lunch and then decided to catch up on my blog, update pictures, and curl rachel's hair for her cousin's wedding rather than going to my optional classes...im happy with my decision. In my holocaust film class we analyzed our midterm and we have a chance to redo it. It's annoying how we put so much effort into it and not everyone even did it and we went over it in class. ugh. We watched the film twice, once just seeing it and then the other time stopping to analyze and critique it. I thought i was a good film, but after seeing it a couple of times and talking about it with people it was not good. without correcting our midterm, which wont be too difficult, we got a b+ which isnt bad. We then watched "the wave" which i had already seen. The acting was so bad and humorous to watch. After class we had a bad dinner. tonight was just not our night to cook. but we didnt have any food left--we are going shopping tomorrow. We then had an apartment meeting, which was fine. I then basically read a magazine, did the hoe down throwdown, made the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and showered. It is almost one, but i really want to watch some more of 27 dresses...what the heck, ill go watch it!
ps- mom, if possible, can we go to the yitzhak rabin ceremony saturday night in tel aviv? i want to meet up with friends there...and i cant believe you guys are coming in THREE days! oh, please email me back about my list and something i want to add, can you get me a costco size of gum--just BRING, dont chew :) hahahaaaaaaa
