Doing the forest work was fun! We had a saw (took many pics with it) and working gloves. It was rewarding when the branch started to go down and when you got it off. We did this until we were tired, and then we got back on the bus. I was annoyed because i lost/someone took my water by accident and i was too grossed out to take a water that i knew wasnt mine. Im a little dehydrated. When we got back to the apartment, rach and i had veggies and hummus. I then showered and wrote in my blog. It is such a hastle to do. Instead of sleeping or reading, i write in my blog.
At 2:30 I woke rach up and we went to a meeting to help plan a section 1 party. Someone bought chocolate chip cookies and cake..yum! The meeting dragged on for a little, but we are going to be having this party on october 13 (lori's EIGHTEENTH birthday!!!!) and have speed dating with ridiculous, funny questions.
We then came back, read, took a nap, and woke up to get ready to go out for rachels birthday!!!!!! I cant go into details now because i have to leave for Tzfat for the weekend, but we went to this really good sushi place (note to self: waitress), ate brownies katie made, and then went to ben yehuda. We ended up going to a bar and just dancing (ha rachel) for a long time. Before we left we met some soldiers and it was crazy because one of them told me he was 20, but he looked so much older! He showed me his army ID to prove it..he was born in 1989! We ended up finding out that there was a bus that runs really late, so we got to take it. While waiting for the bus we saw a couple of boys trying to help their friend that was passed out. I hope he was okay. Luckily me and my friends were there because we had water and when the boys tried to lie him down we told them to move him onto his side. The boy had puke oozing out of his mouth. On the bus ride back it was so crowded! We ended up meeting a couple of guys and one of them was really interested in joining Shevet. Im so happy i chose shevet not only because i like it, but a lot of people want to join it--there just isnt room! Have a good Simchat torah!
note to self: chelsea is really good at doing the gilly sorry impression. i think it was this night when we all became hysterical/obsessed with it
