FRIDAY:
On Friday we woke up around 9ish so we could get to the bus for shevet at 10. We got there on time, but for some reason the bus didn't leave until ELEVEN. Total crap. We drove to ein gedi, or that is where we thought we were going. We ended up going to one of those spas with old tourists. The ride there was cool because we were in the desert and we could see us go down below sea level. We went on the really dangerous highway where there are memorials on the side of the road. Our madrich, alex, told us how his neighbor died on the road. When we got to the spa, after getting changed with rach in a changing room, we saw all the old people in the gross indoor spa pool things. Rach was determined to walk to the sea, so there was a path and Rach, Naomi, and I walked on the path for about 20 minutes to the Dead Sea!!!

When we got there the joke was we lowered the average age to 65. We put our stuff down and then after touching the water I went to go find some mud for us. I was finally useful and I found the mud!!!! There was this hole and I stuck my hand down it to get the mud! I grabbed enough for the 3 of us and we put the mud all over us and then floated in the water for a bit. I was the first one to float!!! After a bit we decided to make people jealous for not coming with us, so we grabbed more mud and put it on us on the truck thing that drove us back to the spa.

We looked like freaks with the mud on us and then before we saw katie we had to get all the mud off of us. Katie came right before I was about to eat lunch and then she threw rach in the pool and told me to take off my towel, so I did and then she threw me into the pool. Rach and I secretly wanted to go in. She was "angry, but not angry." When I was almost done with my sandwich it started to rain pretty hard, so then I went inside and then changed before leaving to head to the hostel. It was so nice! I was in a room with Katie, Rach, Julia, and Cara. Rach and I showered and took such a nice nap for a bit, We then got ready for shabbas and then after davining and JRK trying to come up with a d'var musical version. For dinner we didn't have to do it and Rach and I realized that we were there on march for lunch the day we went to the dead sea!! After dinner we had class that talked about Gilad Shalit and the situation going on. Moran led it. Then after tish we went back to our room and hung out for a bit before going to bed.
