Today, as I said in the last post, I woke up all confused and stressed. I called Leah to just see if I was really dreaming or not. I cried a little when I found out it was just a dream (or nightmare!) I couldn't go back to sleep, I think I finally caught up on my sleep. The woman is running a little late, but I am just so so so happy. I am just nervous that she won't be able to finish both of us. I will probably cry when it is all over with. I am just happy that at least I am not alone and I am with Leah. She is taking charge. Once this is over I guess we can call this another interesting experience I had!

The lady was running late and I did some emailing and such and watched some of 27 Dresses. I was so happy when the woman came. Leah called it- she was an ortho lady from brooklyn, but was young and really nice and cool. I enjoyed my 4 hours with her (2.5 for me and 1.5 for leah). She started off with me because mine was worse (1..what?) She put this shampoo in my hair after wetting it and after it soaked in and was tingly, we washed it out. Then she put a lot of conditioner in my hair and divided up my hair. Then she began to use a pick to get the lice and the nits out. It didn't really hurt me, it was just pressure. We talked about all sorts of things and she just made aliyah in august. She is expecting and this isn't a job she wants forever, just for the first year. I decided that when I come back to Israel after college or whenever to live for a few years, if I can't find a job, I'll be a lice picker! It is easy to learn and you make a decent amount of money. I will join the company she works for-the only company in Israel and they are always needing more people. They are really flexible with your schedule...many students do it. Woo hoo!

Leah and I were so thankful and Shira made us get the israeli mindset about lice and how it is not gross or a big deal...everyone gets it. With the conflict and diseases, Israelis don't find lice a concern which is a problem because it never goes away! After she finished with me, I showered to get all the conditioner out. I almost documented the whole thing with pics, but didn't--sorry mom. Then I let my hair air dry and then she checked my hair just to check to see if she missed any. So now, I'M CLEAN I'M CLEAN I'M CLEAN!!! It was a little pricey, but it is so nice to feel assured that I don't have lice anymore. I then cleaned up a little and reorganized rach's and my shelves. For dinner Cara made this delicious thing, so I did it too. We are now OBSESSED with it. We fry cut up tomatoes and then when they are fried, make a grilled cheese with cheese in pita. When the cheese is about to melt, put in the tomatoes. Then eat it with a knife and fork. YUM.

Later, Katie came over so we could eat (didn't think we were going to nearly finish them!) peanut m&ms and watch Valentine's Day online. I checked katie and I thought she had lice. Leah wasn't home, so after the movie (which I thought was kind of cute and was funny at certain parts) Leah checked Katie-she has. Not only Katie, but also Rach (shhh don't tell her mom! haha) That night until past 2, I picked out Katie's hair. They both slept with oil in their hair with plastic wrapped around their head to suffocate them. I slept on the couch. I'm a little paranoid that I'm going to get it again.
